Settings — what lives where

Settings has five tabs. Four of them you open once and forget.

Business · Subscription · PressKit · Integrations · Team

Business — your own details

Seven sections down the side:

Branding — logo (PNG, JPG or SVG, up to 2MB) and brand name. The second isn't decorative: it's the short name the app itself uses, e.g. on the "Typografika Folder" button. Leave it empty and your account name is used.

Country & Currency — the setting with the widest consequences in the whole app. Country drives VAT, invoicing and units of measure: pick the US and the system works in inches, pick Greece and the AADE/myDATA fields unlock. PressCal suggests a country from your browser, but check it before you save.

Tax details — legal name, VAT number, tax office. These go onto quotes and invoices.

Contact details — address, phone, email, website. Your email signature is built from these; if they're empty, so is it.

Bank accounts — bank, holder, IBAN. They appear on the printed quote and in the sending email, so the customer has the payment details in front of them and doesn't have to ask again.

Quote terms — numbered terms that travel with every quote (validity, payment terms, lead time).

Message Templates — ready-made texts and the email signature. See "Sending email from inside PressCal".

The other four

Subscription — your plan, billing, cancellation.

PressKit — the three-step connection wizard for the desktop app, and the job folder root. See "Installing and connecting PressKit".

Integrations — Elorus, Courier, Gmail, Gemini AI. Each has its own article.

Team — your users and their roles. The role decides what each person sees — the Email page, for instance, is admin-only.

Language isn't here

You change the interface language from the switcher in the top bar, not from Settings — it's each user's personal choice, not a company setting. Which languages are offered depends on your region.

Separate from that: the language of customer-facing documents follows your organisation's country, and on sending a quote you pick it per message. Which makes sense — what you read and what your customer reads are two different questions.

Two things that aren't configurable (and don't need to be)

  • Quote numbering is fixed: QT-2026-0001, a counter per year.
  • Date and number formatting comes from your country. An American sees $1,234.56, a Greek sees 1.234,56 €, with nobody saying so.

⚠️ At the bottom of the Business tab: DATA MANAGEMENT

Two buttons that do real damage if hit by accident:

  • Reset — deletes quotes, companies, contacts, materials and machines, and reloads the demo samples.
  • Wipe — deletes everything permanently; the account starts completely empty.

In both cases your business details are kept. You want the first button when you're done playing with the demo data; the second almost never.
